A Few Surprises Were In Store For Our Pre-Xmas Meeting

The stage was set. Like everything we do at SB alliance we always like to create the WOW factor for our Wednesday 10th December meeting

at our Ruby's Restaurant, Bushey venue we really got into the swing of the festive season by letting all the attendees know we had some special

high profile guests that would join us. But not for breakfast.

The only people who knew who they were, were the three commitee members, as they were going to be our guests. They quietly

slipped away from the meeting to adorn some famous business captain masks which I had purchased earlier in the year. We had our very

own David Baum as Duncan Bannatyne, Ian Lobato as Theo Paphitis, and our very own Melanie Baum as Hilary Devey from the Dragons Den's

Dragons. I must admit every one thinks Ian Lobato already looks like Duncan without the mask. He only wishes he had Duncan's wealth

to match.

We arranged for the three dragons to come in and surprise all the attendees and we arranged for all the attendees to do their one

minute pitch to the dragons, where they and the audience judged the merit of their business pitches. Unlike the real programme, we had to

award the three winning partcipants a bottle of festive quality wine instead of the usual £75,000 of Dragons investment!

Another surprise was Ian Morris who entertained us as Santa. He was my closely guarded secret only the restaurant owner

knew as Ian he had to get changed in one Restaurant's rooms upstairs. The stage was set when he made his grand entrance

with a few Ho, Ho's. A hearty laugh and cough We then distributed presents to all the attendees who were there to recieve them.

No one was left out we also gave the Restaurant staff and Michael a little gifts to say thanks for looking after us in 2014. What a send off everyone wished each other a fabulous

festive break and happy and succesful new year ahead!
